
E-mail is taking over the world of communication. As an examiner it is crucial to be able to extract, view, search, and report on all the data in a mail archive. Paraben's e-mail examination technology employs all the best forensic methodology with an efficient and effective means for analysis of e-mail archives. This technology is broken into two tools with E-mail Examiner being designed for local archive examination and Network E-mail Examiner for network archives. Paraben has created a detailed, three-day course that will allow the examiner to understand the fundamentals of these e-mail archives. The examiners will be taught the structure of the data associated with each type of archive. The examiners will then continue by practically applying the analysis process for these archives using Paraben's E-mail Examiner and Paraben's Network E-mail Examiner. Types of archives dealt with in class include Microsoft Exchange Server EDB files, PST Exchange files, Netscape, Juno, Exchange, Outlook Express, Outlook PST files, Lotus Notes, Groupwise, etc.
